Highway Love Song

I've been working on this song for banjo the past few weeks, my first on banjo. I was so nervous...and my iPhone ran out of space 2/3 of the way through. Of course.

YouTube: Highway Love Song

I had a lovely home in, the heart of the city
I was happy all alone
I met a gorgeous girl who, she stole my heart and
I couldn't let her go

I'd never seen the flowers, ever bloom 'till
I was in love with you
The highway loved to take us, wherever love would find us
In each other's arms

But I took too long to let you know, I'm in love with you
All those lonely roads we travelled, and still our love endured

When we were drivin', the wind would take us
down long, desert roads
What I long to tell you, I want to drive forever
keeping time with you

This might sound crazy, I can feel her with me
when I'm driving down this road
We had the top down raining, through the world|storm together
the best love I've ever known
